Scope of Work

• Execute full-spectrum pest control operations across all hospital premises for a fixed twelve-month contract term.
• Deploy approved chemical and non-chemical treatment methods suitable for sensitive healthcare settings.
• Implement structured monitoring, reporting, and preventive maintenance routines throughout the contract period.
• Ensure all activities align with hospital infection control protocols and provincial health department regulations.

Technical Requirements

• Product Certification: All pest control materials must carry SABS or SANS approval.
• Regulatory Authorisation: Bidders must provide a valid licence issued by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) permitting the manufacture, wholesale, or distribution of relevant products.
• Legislative Adherence: Operations must fully comply with the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act No. 36 of 1947.
• Safety Documentation: Submission of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for every chemical or agent utilised.

• Enterprise Qualification: Preference points are allocated to South African-owned enterprises, requiring submission of CIPC registration, BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit, director ID copies, and a valid tax clearance certificate.
