Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver photocopying paper, thermal transfer paper labels, wax ribbons, and related consumables to Rietvlei Hospital. The aim is to ensure the hospital has a reliable supply of standard quality printing and copying materials that meet specified standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of standard A4 photocopying paper (80 gsm, 210mm x 297mm, packaged as 500 sheets per ream, 5 reams per box).
• Supply and delivery of thermal transfer paper labels (rolls, size 80mm x 40mm, semi-gloss material, 24,000 labels per box, 16 rolls per box).
• Supply and delivery of wax ribbons (84mm x 74m, enhanced wax, 13mm core, 12 rolls per box).
• Supply of wax ribbon reels for Rx printers used in pharmacy dispensing.

The delivery location is Rietvlei Hospital, with quotations to be delivered to the security gate. The contract is a once-off supply, with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advert.

Skills and Skills Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Understanding of technical specifications and standards for printing and copying consumables.
• Ability to supply products that fully meet the detailed specifications and quality standards.
• Experience in supplying similar hospital or institutional consumables.
• Capacity to deliver within the specified timeframe and to the designated location.
• Ability to complete and sign annexure A and return with the quotation, confirming compliance.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and compliance with the tender requirements.
