Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 100 bundles of 25 unprinted shipper boxes (Product Code: PM200 BOX CORR 465X290X175MM X25) in accordance with the attached specifications. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of quality cartons that meet the specified technical and quality standards, including certification and conformance documentation.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply of 100 bundles of unprinted shipper boxes, each bundle containing 25 boxes.
• Manufacturing cartons as per the detailed specifications, including dimensions (465mm x 290mm x 175mm), material (white recycled board with high yield class C fluting, 3.5-4mm thickness, 547 g/m² surface weight), and design requirements.
• Provision of certificates of analysis or conformance for each batch, signed and on company letterhead, including batch number, item name, and specifications.
• Compliance with government procurement conditions and submission of all required documentation, including CSD report, SBD4 declaration, and BBBEE certificates where applicable.
• Registration and submission via the designated procurement portal, with no email submissions accepted.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the shipper boxes include:

• Cartons must be closed with all flips meeting the specified diagram requirements.
• Formed cartons must have the following dimensions:
  • Length: 465 mm
  • Width: 290 mm
  • Depth: 175 mm
• Material specifications:
  • White recycled board with high yield class C fluting
  • Fluting thickness: 3.5-4mm
  • Surface weight: approximately 547 g/m²
  • Surface must be white and clean, with no leftover cuttings visible
• Each carton must have the supplier name or code and item code (PM200) printed on it.
• All cartons must be accompanied by a signed certificate of analysis or conformance, stating batch number, item name, specifications, and results, on company letterhead and signed by the responsible person.
