Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure certificates for the KZN College of Emergency Care. These certificates are intended to be issued to students upon completion of their course programs to certify their academic achievements.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of certificates that meet specific detailed specifications, on a 3-year contract basis. The certificates must incorporate security features, comply with quality standards, and be suitable for printing in A4 size with water resistance and other specified security elements.

Technical Requirements

• Certificates must include the official logos, institution name, recipient's full name, qualification details, SAQA ID, NQF level, credit value, signatures, unique certificate number, date of issue, and official seal.
• Size: Letter size A4 (220mm x 280mm), portrait orientation, with a matte finish suitable for signatures.
• Incorporate security features such as a unique certificate number, watermark, UV prints, and water resistance.
• Design must include a gold seal with the KZN College of Emergency Care logo, signatures of authorized officials, and security features.
• Final artwork resolution: 300 dpi in PDF format, with appropriate bleed and safety margins.
• Certificates must be water-resistant and conform to specified standards and specifications.
• Supply includes samples during technical evaluation and adherence to the detailed specification form.

Skills Requirements

• Proficiency in graphic design and layout to produce certificates that meet security and quality standards.
• Experience in producing secure official documents with security features such as watermarks, UV prints, and unique numbering.
• Knowledge of printing standards and quality assurance to ensure high-resolution, water-resistant certificates.
• Ability to prepare artwork files in PDF format with correct bleed, margins, and resolution.
• Understanding of compliance with institutional specifications and legal requirements for official certificates.
