Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 8 tons of rabbit pellets in bulk for Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of quality rabbit feed to support ongoing biological and veterinary activities, with an emphasis on selecting a qualified and compliant supplier through a transparent evaluation process.

Scope

• Provision of 8 tons of rabbit pellets in bulk (not bags)
• Delivery and pouring of the pellets into designated silos at the specified location
• Compliance with government procurement conditions and specifications outlined in the tender documents

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the rabbit pellets are as follows:

• Quantity: 8 tons
• Product: Rabbit pellets
• Packaging: Bulk, not in bags
• Delivery: To be delivered and poured into the provided silos

Suppliers must also provide:

• Specifications, catalogues, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and data sheets of the items
• Proof of previous supply of similar items within the past 24 months (signed invoices, delivery notes, or reference letters)
• South African companies must submit a recent CSD report (not older than 2 months) confirming registration and tax compliance
• Foreign/international companies must complete SBD1 and submit SBD4 declaration forms

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying similar animal feed products, evidenced by previous supply records within 24 months
• Compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards
• Registration and tax compliance for South African companies (via CSD report)
• Completion and submission of all compulsory documentation, including COA, catalogue, and signed invoices
• Adherence to government procurement policies and ethical bidding practices, including disclosure and declaration forms
