Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a contractual arrangement for the provision of forklift rental services at the Multi-purpose Terminal, Port of Saldanha. The contract aims to ensure the availability of reliable forklift equipment to support port operations for a period of six (6) months, on a dry rate basis, facilitating efficient cargo handling and terminal productivity.

• Forklifts should be supplied with necessary documentation, testing, and inspection certificates as deemed necessary by Transnet.
• Provision of replacement parts and maintenance services to ensure continuous operation during the rental period.
