Briefing Date Details: A compulsory RFQ briefing will be conducted at 202 Anton Lembede, Transnet Pipelines, Durban on the 14th of April 2025, at 11am for a period of ± 3hours. [Respondents to provide own transportation and accommodation]. The briefing session will start punctually and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late. A compulsory site walkabout in Carrington and Umhlali will be conducted on the 14th of April 2025 after the RFQ briefing. The locations will be shared with the bidders at Transnet Pipelines HQ, Durban. However the estimated total distance of travel from HQ to the sites is 73 km. Bidders must make transport arrangements for the site walkabout. A Certificate of Attendance in the form set out in Section 8 hereto must be completed and submitted with your Proposal as proof of attendance is required for a compulsory site meeting and/or RFQ briefing. Respondents failing to attend the compulsory RFQ briefing/ Site Walkabout will be disqualified. Bidders are required to confirm their attendance and to send their contact details including the number of representatives (where applicable) to the following address: [email protected]. This is to ensure that Transnet may make the necessary arrangements for the briefing session.
