Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure unarmed security guarding services to ensure the safety and security of specified swimming pools and associated facilities. The services are required to be provided continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, over a period of three months (90 days).

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the provision of unarmed security guards at the following locations:

• Swimming pools managed by Ruth Belonski, Joan Harrison, and Zwelitsha
• Zwelitsha Block

The services encompass guarding duties during all hours of operation, ensuring safety, monitoring access, and maintaining security protocols at each site for the entire duration of the contract.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• Security guards must be unarmed but adequately trained in security procedures and emergency response.
• Guards should be present at the designated sites continuously, covering all 24 hours each day.
• All security personnel must adhere to the specified safety and operational standards set by the contracting authority.
• Provision of necessary uniforms and identification badges for security personnel.
• Implementation of reporting and communication protocols for incidents or emergencies.

Skills Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• Relevant security training and certification.
• Experience in unarmed security guarding, preferably in similar environments.
• Ability to operate security equipment and surveillance systems if required.
