Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure sterile Psp Mini Monoka Ophthalmic Stents (PVC) for use in ophthalmology surgeries at Grey's Hospital. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of high-quality, sterile ophthalmic stents that meet specified standards to support ophthalmic surgical procedures.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply of 5 boxes, each containing 3 sets of the Psp Mini Monoka Ophthalmic Stent PVC sterile, totaling 15 sets. The procurement is for a once-off delivery to Grey's Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, within the specified contract period. The tender covers all aspects related to the supply, including packaging, labeling, and delivery to the designated hospital site.

Technical Requirements

• The product must be a Psp Mini Monoka Ophthalmic Stent PVC sterile, complying with specified standards.
• The stent must be sterile and suitable for ophthalmic surgical use.
• Packaging should be in boxes containing 3 sets per box, with a total of 5 boxes.
• The product must meet the detailed specifications provided, including size, color, and material, as per the attached annexure.
• The product must be approved and supplied with relevant documentation confirming compliance with quality standards.
• Delivery must be made to Grey's Hospital, Town Bush Road, Pietermaritzburg, within the contract period.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to supply sterile ophthalmic medical devices that meet quality and safety standards.
• Proven experience in supplying ophthalmic surgical equipment and medical devices is required.
• Suppliers must be registered and authorized to manufacture, import, or distribute medical devices as per South African health regulations (e.g., SAHPRA licensing).
• Capability to provide technical documentation, quality certificates, and compliance proof upon request.
• Ability to deliver within the specified timeframe and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
