Technical Requirements

• Provision of safety footwear that complies with safety standards such as S3, and other relevant safety classifications.
• Items must match the specified sizes, styles, and specifications listed in the tender document.
• Suppliers must provide proof of previous supply of similar items within the past 24 months, including stamped invoices, delivery notes, or reference letters.
• Suppliers must demonstrate registration and tax compliance via a recent CSD report (not older than 2 months).
• Foreign companies must complete SBD1, and all suppliers must submit a signed SBD4 declaration.
• All products must meet the minimum local content threshold of 100% for footwear.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from suppliers include:

• Demonstrated experience in supplying safety footwear, evidenced by previous supply records within the last 24 months.
• Ability to provide products that meet safety standards and specifications outlined in the tender.
• Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including registration, tax compliance, and BBBEE certification.
• Capability to supply a wide range of footwear sizes and styles as specified.
• Understanding of procurement processes and ability to adhere to submission requirements, including completing all necessary documentation such as SBD forms and CSD reports.
