Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure safety shoes, specifically the REBEL Thuli Chelsea Safety Boot, Rebel Crazy Horse Boots, and Rebel Chukka Boot, to meet the safety and operational requirements of Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of quality safety footwear that complies with relevant standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply of the following items:

• 1 x REBEL Thuli Chelsea Safety Boot, Size 3
• 1 x Rebel Crazy Horse Boots, Black, Size 7
• 1 x Rebel Chukka Boot, Black, Size 8

The procurement process covers the submission of quotations, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to government procurement policies.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that the safety shoes must be:

• Equivalent to the specified sizes (Size 3, Size 7, Size 8)
• Of the specified models: REBEL Thuli Chelsea, Rebel Crazy Horse, and Rebel Chukka Boots
• Compliant with safety standards and suitable for occupational safety purposes

Suppliers must provide specifications, catalogues, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and data sheets with their quotations.

Skills and Evidence Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate compliance through:

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a report not older than 2 months (for South African bidders)
• Request and submit an SBD 1 form (for international bidders)
• Complete and submit the SBD 4 Bidder’s Disclosure form
• Provide valid BBBEE certificates showing at least 51% black ownership and 30% women ownership, if applicable
• Provide a doctor’s note or disability confirmation, if claiming disability status

Failure to submit these documents will result in disqualification.
