Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure magnetic stirrer bars, specifically 10 units of magnetic stirrer bars measuring 50-76 mm in size, to meet the needs of Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Suppliers must provide specifications, catalogues, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and data sheets with their quotations.
• Suppliers should demonstrate previous supply experience of similar items within the last 24 months.
• Adherence to government procurement policies and conditions outlined in the General Conditions of Contract July 2010.
• All submissions must be made through the designated procurement portal or via specified email addresses, with no submissions accepted via email unless instructed.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Suppliers must meet the following criteria to qualify:

• Complete and submit the SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure form, signed and signed.
• Provide proof of previous supply of similar items within the last 24 months (e.g., stamped invoices, delivery notes, reference letters).
• For South African companies: submit a current CSD report (not older than 2 months) showing registration, activity, and tax compliance.
• Foreign or international companies must complete SBD1 forms as requested.
• Demonstrate compliance with BBBEE requirements, including valid certificates showing black ownership (51%), women ownership (30%), or disability status, with appropriate documentation.
• Possess relevant experience and capacity to supply laboratory-grade magnetic stirrer bars as specified.
• Adhere to procurement procedures, including registration on the OBP procurement portal and submission of all required documentation.
