Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to convert an existing storeroom into a male changeroom and to revamp the current storeroom at the Doull Road Waste Department.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Conversion of the storeroom into a male changeroom.
• Revamp of the existing storeroom to meet the specified requirements.
• Completion of all works as detailed in the specifications, including ceilings and partitioning.
• Delivery and installation within the contract period at the specified site.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Adherence to the scope of works outlined in the specifications.
• Compliance with the General Conditions of Contract (GCC 2015) by National Treasury and the Msunduzi Municipality.
• Use of new materials conforming to SANS 1200 standards and the National Building Regulations.
• Guarantee/Warranty: All materials shall be guaranteed by the manufacturer for 12 months from delivery.
• Completion within the specified contract period, with penalties for late delivery.
• Implementation of health and safety standards as per Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act No. 85 of 1993).

Skills and Experience Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Registration with a minimum CIDB grading of 1GB or higher.
• Successful completion of at least three projects of a similar nature.
• Provision of a detailed implementation plan, including management, professional personnel CVs, and resource schedules.
• Experience in civil, mechanical, electrical, or related construction works.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations and submission of relevant documentation.
• Ability to provide quality workmanship, timely delivery, and adherence to specifications.
