Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider for the supply and installation of 23 geysers across various municipal houses and flats within Rustenburg. Scope

• Ensuring all plumbing components are SABS approved and compliant with relevant standards.
• Carrying out works that involve building trades such as plumbing, roofing, and water heating.
• Warranty management and geyser certification details (serial number, model, code).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• All geysers must have a minimum of 5-year warranty.
• Geysers must be wall-hung or roof ceiling mounted as specified.
• Related plumbing components must be SABS approved.
• Water heating components should include serial number, model, and geyser code on the serial plate.
• Work must adhere to the scope of work, specifications, and relevant building trades standards.
• All installation work must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
• Proper certification and warranty documentation must be provided for each geyser installed.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The tender requires bidders to demonstrate:

• Registered CIDB contractor grading of at least 1SO or higher, indicating capability in building trades including plumbing and roofing.
• Management and supervisory staff with relevant experience in plumbing, water heating, and building trades.
• Provision of curriculum vitae for key supervisory and safety personnel, including site managers, plumbers, and health and safety officers.
• Experience in executing similar projects involving the supply and installation of geysers in municipal or comparable environments.
• Ability to provide technical documentation, warranty management, and certification for installed geysers.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including submission of approved health and safety plans.
• Financial stability and the capacity to undertake the scope of work, supported by bank references and financial statements if required.
