Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a suitable and experienced Service Provider to deliver Contract Management Training to the Namakwa District Municipality in Springbok. The training aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of municipal staff in managing contracts effectively.

Scope

The scope of work includes providing comprehensive contract management training that is SAQA accredited, with contact sessions facilitated at the service provider’s premises or designated location. The training will result in a certificate of completion and is targeted at four employees of the municipality. The service provider must also ensure the training program meets specific compulsory requirements and deliverables as outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• The service provider must be SAQA accredited and provide proof of accreditation and registration numbers.
• The training must be conducted at an approved contact session venue.
• The qualification awarded upon completion should be a contract management certificate.
• The program duration must be a short skills program at NQF Level 5.
• The facilitator must be accredited, with proof submitted during application.
• The provider must be CSD registered and submit proof of registration.
• The training must enroll four employees from the municipality.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering SAQA-accredited contract management training.
• Facilitator must be accredited and capable of delivering contact sessions effectively.
• Ability to provide training that results in a recognized qualification (certificate).
• Knowledge of municipal contract management policies and procedures.
• Capability to prepare and submit all required returnable documents, including company profile, references, and proof of accreditation.
