Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a rental lease for an 18,000L water tanker to be used over a period of 20 days in Ladybrand and Excelsior. The water tanker is intended to supply portable water to households lacking access and to assist with sewer spillages by providing water and sewer jet services.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of one (01) water tanker for a duration of 20 days.
• The water tanker must be operational, wet, and come with an operator/driver.
• Transportation costs are to be included in the quotation.
• Supply of portable water in Excelsior to households without water access.
• Provision of water and sewer jet services for addressing sewer spillages.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the water tanker include:

• Quantity: 01 water tanker.
• The water tanker must be functional, wet, and accompanied by an operator/driver.
• Transport costs must be included in the quotation.
• The tanker must be capable of supplying potable water to households and assisting with sewer spillages using sewer jet technology.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Ability to operate and maintain the water tanker effectively.
• Qualified personnel to operate the sewer jet and handle water supply tasks.
• Compliance with municipal regulations and safety standards.
• Provision of necessary documentation such as CSD reports, ID copies, and municipal rates and taxes clearance.
