The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Drivers Licence program specifically tailored for college students. The program aims to facilitate pretest coaching, booking and administration fees, photo payments, driving lessons, and licensing test fees to enable students to obtain their driver's licenses efficiently.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of pretest coaching for learner’s licences (code 10) at Cedara College.
• Payment of booking and administration fees for learner’s licences and driver’s applications.
• Payment for student and driver photos.
• Driving lessons totaling 10 hours per student.
• Payment of booking fees for driver’s licence tests.
• Issuance fees for successful driver’s licences.
• Arranging transportation for students to and from Cedara College.
• Running the program in stages, with student removal if non-compliance occurs.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• The bidder must be a registered driving school.
• Arrangements for transportation of students to and from Cedara College.
• Provision of coaching, booking, photo, and licensing services as per attached specifications.
• Adherence to the staged program plan, with compliance monitoring.
• Provision of detailed quotations per item, including unit prices exclusive of VAT.
• Supporting documentation such as proof of registration, compliance, and relevant certifications.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for bidders include:

• Must be a registered and accredited driving school.
• Capability to provide qualified driving instructors for the 10-hour lessons.
• Experience in managing learner and driver licensing processes.
• Ability to coordinate transportation logistics for students.
• Compliance with all legal and technical standards specified by SABS and relevant authorities.
• Provision of qualified personnel for coaching, administrative, and licensing activities.
