Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply, delivery, and offloading of 10 Boschveld indigenous cockerel chickens to Osca College Research Station, ensuring they meet specific health and vaccination standards as certified by a veterinarian.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of 10 fully vaccinated indigenous cockerel chickens in ventilated crates, ready for mating.
• Delivery and offloading at the Osca Research Station, located within the Umhlathuze municipality, King Cetshwayo District.
• Compliance with specified health, vaccination, and documentation requirements.

Technical Requirements

The chickens must:

• Be indigenous Boschveld cockerels at the appropriate stage for mating.
• Be packed in ventilated crates suitable for transport.
• Have documentation from a certified veterinarian confirming full vaccination against Mareks, Newcastle, Infectious bronchitis, Infectious bursal disease, Coryza, ILT primer / EDS, Coccidia, ILT strong vaccine, Worms, ND, IB & IBD inactivated, and free of contagious diseases, including Fowl Pox + AE.
• Meet SABS specifications and be inspected accordingly (if applicable).
