Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider responsible for sourcing, supplying, and delivering professional multimedia equipment—including a professional video camera, tripod, phone stand, and professional lighting equipment—to enhance the municipality’s corporate communication and digital engagement efforts.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of the following items:

• A professional video camera with specified features
• A camera backpack with compartments
• A professional lighting kit (300W with heavy-duty stand)
• A camera tripod stand
• A camera stabilizer (if applicable)
• A phone stand or stabilizer

The delivery must be made to Mogale City Municipal Stores, Technical Services Yard, Tudor Road, Chamdor, Krugersdorp, within the specified timeframe after receipt of the official purchase order.

Technical Requirements

The equipment must meet the following minimum specifications:

• Video camera with 24-105mm f/4L II lens
• Camera backpack with specific dimensions (23cm x 14cm x 40cm)
• Professional lighting kit (300W, black color, with heavy-duty stand)

All products must be supplied with catalogues and meet the specified minimum features. The lighting equipment must be heavy-duty and suitable for professional use. The equipment must be new, original, and compliant with the specifications provided.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• The bidder must submit completed and signed municipal bidding documents, including all annexures.
• The bidder must demonstrate relevant experience with similar projects, including references and project descriptions.
• Key personnel involved in the delivery and installation must have appropriate qualifications, experience, and capacity to execute the contract.
• The bidder must provide details of infrastructure, physical facilities, and resources available to support the delivery of the equipment.
• All bid documentation must be completed in black ink, handwritten, and original; no electronic signatures or photocopies are accepted.
• The bidder must be registered on the National Treasury Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and, if applicable, be registered as a VAT vendor.
• Knowledge of municipal procurement policies, supply chain management, and compliance with relevant legislation is essential.
