Objectives

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Completion of repairs including, but not limited to, brake systems, lighting, tyres, oil leaks, and other mechanical components.
• Replacement of specific parts such as windscreen wipers, lamps, tyres, and other identified components.
• Sending both trucks for COF certification as per regulatory standards.
• Provision of detailed repair reports and compliance documentation.

Compulsory inspection and briefing are scheduled, and the successful bidder must attend and adhere to the inspection requirements.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in repairing similar municipal or commercial vehicles, supported by reference letters and relevant work history.
• Technical expertise in heavy vehicle maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and bodywork repairs.
• Capability to perform repairs according to detailed specifications and regulatory standards.
• Ability to complete repairs within the stipulated delivery period.
• Knowledge of vehicle certification processes and compliance with COF requirements.
