Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to source a competent service provider to undertake a detailed and comprehensive year-end review of the entity’s tax computation in accordance with the Income Tax Act requirements. The review aims to ensure compliance, accuracy, and provide insights into potential future tax implications for the Durban ICC.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Conducting a thorough review of the entity’s tax computation for the year-end period.
• Assessing the tax computation in relation to the Income Tax Act requirements.
• Providing feedback on any potential future tax implications for the entity.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Demonstrate at least five (5) years of relevant taxation competence and experience in similar assignments.
• Attach reference letters from previous similar assignments.
• Provide comprehensive CVs for each core team member, outlining qualifications, experience, roles, and areas of expertise.
• Enter into a binding contractual agreement with the Durban ICC, drafted by the entity.
• Comply with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act regulations in handling personal data.

Skills Requirements

The ideal service provider should possess:

• Expertise in tax computation and compliance with South African tax legislation.
• Strong analytical and review skills to evaluate complex tax data.
• Experience in providing tax advisory and future tax implications analysis.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and feedback on tax computations.
• Proven track record of successful similar assignments over at least five years.
