Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified and experienced contractors to undertake renovations at Ndulinde Library. The project aims to improve and upgrade the library facilities in accordance with the specified scope of work.

Scope

The scope of work involves comprehensive renovations at Ndulinde Library, including all related activities as detailed in the attached Bill of Quantities (BOQ). The scope is limited to a single project, with the aim of enhancing the library's infrastructure and facilities.

Technical Requirements

• Contractors must be registered with CIDB grading of 1GB or higher.
• All quotations must be completed in accordance with the provided specifications.
• Quotations must be sealed and clearly marked with the quotation number.
• Bid submissions must include:
  • Most recent municipal account or proof of residence (not older than 3 months).
  • Letter of good standing for Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
  • Company registration certificates (Company/CC/Trust/Partnership).
  • Resolution to sign documents on behalf of the company.
  • Verification documents for specific goals (e.g., CIPC registration, ID copies, CSD registration).
• All bidders must be registered on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of 15% VAT.
• Quotations must be submitted by the specified deadline and in the designated bid box.

• Qualified contractors with proven experience in library renovations or similar projects.
• Ability to comply with technical specifications and project scope.
• Capability to provide all necessary documentation, including company registration, tax compliance, and safety certificates.
• Competence in project management and adherence to deadlines.
