Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the repair of Ironer No. 2 at the Regional Laundry Cato Manor, ensuring the equipment is maintained to meet daily production targets. The scope includes:

• Repair of emergency stop switches for the finger gauge and folder.
• Replacement of two V-belts.
• Ensuring the ironer operates efficiently to meet daily production needs.
• Adherence to detailed specifications and quality standards provided by the Department of Health.
• Participation in a compulsory site briefing session.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Repair of emergency stop switches for the finger gauge and folder.
• Replacement of 2 V-belts.
• Compliance with the detailed specifications outlined in the procurement documents, including the ability to meet quality standards and standards specified by the Department.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Proof of active CIDB grading of 1ME or above, demonstrating capacity in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Experience in completing similar repair projects, supported by award letters, orders, or completion certificates not older than 2 years.
• Technical competence to perform repairs on laundry equipment, specifically emergency stop switches and V-belts.
• Ability to comply with safety standards and participate in site inspections and briefing sessions.
• Provision of qualified personnel capable of executing the repairs to meet the specified quality standards.
