Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit formal written quotations from qualified service providers to repair Pump 3 at Kleinbrak Water Treatment Works, ensuring the water treatment infrastructure remains operational and efficient.

Scope

The scope of work involves the repair of Pump 3 at Kleinbrak Water Treatment Works within the Mossel Bay Municipal Area. All bidders must attend a compulsory site and information meeting to understand the detailed scope, design, and specifications related to the repair works. The scope includes understanding the design, execution phase expectations, and potential amendments discussed during the site meeting.

Technical Requirements

• Service providers must have a CIDB grading of 1ME.
• Participation in a compulsory site and information meeting scheduled for 22 October 2025 at Kleinbrak Water Works.
• Completion of the formal written quotation documents on original forms, which must be sealed and submitted by the deadline.
• Adherence to the specifications and scope discussed during the site meeting.
• Submission of bids in a sealed envelope or via post before the closing time of 12:00 on 24 October 2025.

Skills Requirements

Proposed service providers should demonstrate:

• Technical expertise in pump repair and water treatment infrastructure.
• Experience in executing similar repair projects at water treatment facilities.
• Qualified personnel familiar with the scope of works, design, and specifications discussed during the site meeting.
