Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a two-day accredited First Aid Level 1 (Basic) training course for all Vaal Central Water employees. The training aims to equip designated and newly appointed workplace First Aiders with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to workplace fire emergencies and ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993.

Scope

The scope includes providing a comprehensive First Aid Level 1 (Basic) training course to 24 employees. The training must be accredited and conducted over two days, covering both theoretical and practical components. The training is intended for designated First Aiders across the organization, ensuring they are prepared to handle emergency situations in the workplace.

Technical Requirements

• The training must be a two-day accredited First Aid Level 1 (Basic) course.
• The course should be aligned with relevant professional accreditation bodies such as QTCO or SETA.
• The training must include both theoretical knowledge and practical skills development.
• The provider must submit all required documentation, including completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), and comply with policies such as Policy Regulations 2022.
• The quotation must specify the total cost, including all delivery costs, skills development levies, and taxes (VAT).
• The provider must adhere to the submission deadline of 25 August 2026 at 12h00.

• Proven experience in delivering accredited First Aid training courses.
• Relevant professional accreditation or affiliation with recognized bodies such as QTCO or SETA.
