Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure training intervention for delegates in First Aid Levels 1-3, specifically for 20 delegates. Additionally, the broader context involves conducting full comprehensive indoor air quality assessments at the Central Government Offices (CGO) and Annex Building, as part of the Department of Public Works & Infrastructure's initiatives.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of First Aid Level 1-3 training for 20 delegates.
• Conducting indoor air quality assessments at CGO and Annex Building, including all related tasks as specified in the Terms of Reference/Specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Delivery of First Aid training to 20 delegates, covering Levels 1-3.
• Provision of qualified trainers with demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in indoor air quality assessments.
• Submission of proof of registration and accreditation, including submission of qualified occupational hygienists or environmental scientists.
• Compliance with all specified standards and specifications outlined in the Terms of Reference.
• Provision of detailed methodology, work plan, and schedule for the indoor air quality assessments.
• Adherence to safety, security, and confidentiality requirements as specified.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required include:

• Qualified occupational hygienists or environmental scientists with at least 3 years of relevant experience in indoor air quality assessments.
• Certified trainers for First Aid Levels 1-3 with proven training delivery experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive assessment reports and conduct site inspections.
• Knowledge of relevant South African standards and regulations related to indoor air quality and occupational health and safety.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
