Quotations are for above R30 000 but below R200 000. In terms of the Municipal Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003 Circular No. 81 all municipalities and municipal entities should implement the use of the Central Supplier Database. The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider responsible for the supply, delivery, and off-loading of various equipment including brush cutters, backpack leaf blowers, box mowers, line marking machines, and tractor-mounted finishing mowers. The service is to be provided on an as-and-when-required basis, with a maximum budget of R750,000 VAT inclusive, or until 30 June 2026, whichever occurs first. The aim is to ensure the availability of these equipment to meet the operational needs of the Community Services Department within specified specifications and regulations.

The services are to be rendered on an as-and-when-required basis, with the contract valid until 30 June 2026 or until a formal tender is in place, whichever comes first. The procurement includes warranty and after-sales support as specified in the technical requirements.
