Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure stores materials including sand, crusher run, cement bags, and weedkiller as specified in the quotation request. The process aims to select suitable vendors through a formal competitive bidding process, ensuring transparency and adherence to procurement regulations.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of the following items:

• 2 cubic meters of Umgeni River Sand
• 6 cubic meters of Crusher Run U.S Base Material
• 50 bags of 50kg cement
• 12 liters of Weedkiller (Round Up/Springbok)

All quotations must be submitted on company letterhead, sealed, and clearly marked with the reference number CS/033914/2026. The procurement process is limited to vendors who meet the specified technical and skills requirements and comply with administrative conditions.

Technical Requirements

Vendors must:

• Have a clear understanding of the items being quoted for.
• Complete all required forms, including MBD 4 & MBD 6.1, and submit them with the quotation.
• Ensure that the products meet the specified quantities and descriptions.
• Be aware that quotations from persons in the service of the state will not be considered.
• Comply with the conditions related to VAT status, CSD registration, and tax verification.

Skills Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:
