Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver laboratory consumables for the SAVP office at NHLS Sandringham Campus. The supplier is expected to provide quality consumables as specified, ensuring timely delivery to support the operational needs of NHLS.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of various laboratory consumables such as cotton wool, latex powder gloves, nitrile examination gloves, refuse bags, washing powder, isopropyl alcohol, alcohol prep swabs, disinfectant cleaner, and swabs. The contract covers the provision of these items in specified quantities, adhering to the technical specifications outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Suppliers must provide all branded items or equivalent products that meet the specified descriptions and quantities.
• Items must be suitable for laboratory use, sterile where applicable, and compliant with relevant health and safety standards.
• All consumables should be delivered in the specified packaging and quantities, with clear labeling.
• Suppliers must ensure timely delivery according to the schedule prescribed by NHLS.
• Pricing must be exclusive of VAT, with total costs including VAT clearly indicated.
• Suppliers must submit all required documentation, including valid tax clearance certificates, CSD registration, and B-BBEE certificates.
• All quotations must be submitted on official letterhead, duly signed, and in accordance with the prescribed forms.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying laboratory consumables or similar medical supplies.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards specified in the tender.
