Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure access control services and hardware for the South African National Petroleum Company (SANPC). The aim is to enhance security measures at SANPC facilities, specifically at the PetroSA building in Parow, Cape Town, by implementing reliable access control systems that meet the company's security and operational requirements.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of access control hardware and related services as detailed in Annexure 1.
• Participation in a site briefing scheduled for 17 August 2026 at 11 am at the PetroSA building.
• Submission of proof of experience in similar projects and relevant professional qualifications, particularly for RBH access control hardware.
• Security clearance procedures, including submission of ID copies.
• Potential negotiations post tender submission and adherence to all specified conditions.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Submission of proof of experience in similar access control projects.
• Provision of primary professional qualifications for personnel working on RBH access control hardware (e.g., AxiomXA or specific manufacturer accreditation).
• Compliance with security clearance procedures.
• Hardware specifications as per manufacturer accreditation and compatibility with RBH access technologies.
• Participation in the site briefing and adherence to site-specific security protocols.

Skills Requirements

The skills required for bidders include:

• Experience in implementing and managing access control systems, particularly with RBH hardware.
• Technical expertise in access control hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Ability to demonstrate relevant project experience through prior similar projects.
• Professional qualifications related to security systems and access control technology.
• Compliance with security clearance and security protocols.
