Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure waste disposal services for ChemLab waste drums, including fluoride waste drums, cuvettes, and vials, ensuring proper handling and disposal by the deadline of 15 May 2026.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and disposal of various waste drums as specified in the item descriptions, with delivery to the Supply Chain Management Unit at the specified address in Alton, Richards Bay. The services must adhere to the technical and statutory requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of waste drums for fluoride waste, cuvettes, and vials as specified.
• Delivery of waste drums to the designated address within the required lead times.
• Compliance with all statutory changes, including VAT and customs levies.
• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and submission of a valid CSD number.
• Provision of a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Completion of RFQ forms in black ink, signed alterations, and submission of all compulsory documentation.
• Adherence to the conditions outlined for alterations, signatures, and submission procedures.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Registered supplier with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Registered with the Municipal Council Database.
• Provision of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Possession of a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Compliance with SHE Risk Management requirements, including submission of SHE files.
• Experience in waste disposal services, particularly for laboratory and chemical waste.
• Ability to complete and submit RFQ documentation accurately and signed.
• Understanding of statutory and municipal procurement policies and regulations.
