Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the hire of deslugging pumps for the Empangeni Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW). The aim is to ensure effective desludging services by providing the necessary pump equipment and support for a specified period, facilitating proper wastewater management.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Hiring of five deslugging pumps for use at Empangeni WWTW.
• Provision of pump hire services for a duration of 5 days, with 8 hours of operation per day.
• Service provider to utilize their own fuel for the pumps during the hire period.
• Assistance with pump operation as required.

There are no site meetings required, and the delivery address is the Supply Chain Management Unit at End of Betastraal, Alton, Richards Bay.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Supply and hire of 5 deslugging pumps suitable for wastewater desludging at Empangeni WWTW.
• Service provider to operate the pumps for 5 days, 8 hours per day.
• Use of own fuel by the service provider during operation.
• All alterations to the quotation must be signed by the bidder to confirm acceptance of changes.
