Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure First Aid Level 3 Training services for the City of uMhlathuze, ensuring that participants acquire advanced first responder skills aligned with national standards and unit standards. The training aims to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities within the municipality.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Delivery of a comprehensive First Aid Level 3 Training Programme based on Unit Standard 376480.
• Training of 10 learners over a duration of 5 days.
• Provision of training at the Richards Bay municipal venue.
• Includes theory and practical components, assessments, and certification of competence.
• Provision of training manuals, certificates, and course feedback reports.
• Additional services such as travel, accommodation, catering, and assessment support as required.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the training provider include:

• Accreditation from the relevant SETA for the specific unit standard and learning programme.
• Provision of a valid SETA accreditation certificate and learning programme accreditation letter.
• Delivery of training in English at the designated Richards Bay venue.
• Use of approved training materials, equipment, and stationary.
• Assessment of learners through portfolios, theory, and practical assessments.
• Issuance of Certificates of Competence for successful learners and Certificates of Attendance where applicable.
• Submission of facilitator CVs, assessor registration numbers, and assistance with portfolios of evidence (POEs) if needed.
• Compliance with all statutory and municipal procurement requirements, including registration on CSD and municipal supplier databases.

• Registered assessors with valid assessor registration numbers.
• Qualified facilitators with relevant experience in advanced first aid training.
• Proven track record of delivering accredited first aid training programmes.
