Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure First Aid Sea Training services at SANPC Saldanha OPC to enhance the safety and emergency preparedness of personnel operating in maritime environments.

Scope

The scope of work includes providing comprehensive First Aid Sea Training at the SANPC Saldanha OPC site. The training must meet specified standards and be suitable for personnel involved in maritime activities. The tender also involves site visits and adherence to the detailed scope outlined in the bidding documents.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of First Aid Sea Training in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
• Completion of a site visit prior to submission, if required.
• Submission of fully detailed and priced proposals, including any discounts offered unconditionally.
• Compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations applicable to maritime first aid training.
• Provision of supporting evidence for claims related to BBBEE status and other specific goals.
• Completion of all required forms, including the SBD1, SBD4, and other annexures as specified.

Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in maritime first aid training and certification.
• Experience in delivering training at maritime or similar environments.
• Ability to provide qualified trainers with relevant certifications and experience.
• Knowledge of South African safety and health regulations related to maritime operations.
• Capacity to prepare and submit comprehensive technical and financial proposals.
• Proficiency in compliance documentation, including BBBEE certification and tax compliance.
