Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to carry out electrical work related to Ogies, specifically at the Wakefield Road Ogies SFF/SANPC Building behind Zibulo Opencast Mine. The goal is to ensure the successful execution of electrical services in accordance with the specified scope and requirements.

Scope

The scope of work involves providing electrical services at the designated location in Ogies, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, and related electrical tasks as detailed in Annexure A. The work must be performed in compliance with the conditions outlined in the tender documents and relevant standards.

Technical Requirements

• Completion of all electrical work as specified in the background and scope of work (Annexure A).
• Adherence to all applicable safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Provision of all necessary tools, equipment, and materials unless otherwise specified.
• Submission of a detailed pricing schedule, including any discounts offered unconditionally.
• Compliance with the requirements for technical and functionality evaluation, including passing minimum thresholds.
• Provision of valid BBBEE certificates or sworn affidavits to claim preference points.
• Completion of all work within the stipulated timeframe and to the satisfaction of SANPC.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified electrical technicians and engineers with relevant experience in electrical installations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of South African electrical standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record in executing similar electrical projects, preferably within the public or industrial sector.
• Good project management and communication skills to coordinate effectively with SANPC and other stakeholders.
• Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax and supplier registration.
