Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to obtain a written quotation for transportation services to facilitate Elderly Forum meetings, specifically transportation from various areas within the Western Cape Office (WCO 24) to a community hall and back.

Scope

The scope includes providing transportation services for Elderly Forum meetings scheduled for August 7, 2026. The service involves transporting elderly participants from specified pickup points across different areas to a designated community hall and returning them afterward. The service must adhere to the specified pickup points and timing, with flexibility for changes or cancellations with 24-hour notice.

Technical Requirements

• Transport from various specified areas within WCO 24 to a community hall and back.
• Delivery and pickup at designated points, with the possibility of changes or cancellations communicated 24 hours prior.
• Vehicles must be suitable for elderly passengers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Quotations must be submitted on the business letterhead with completed MBD documentation.
• Supporting documentation required includes B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal statement of account for all directors and the company (not older than 90 days), and relevant tax and registration details.
• Compliance with municipal procurement policies and conditions, including registration on the Centralised Supplier Database (CSD).
