Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider for the supply and delivery of streetlights materials to Maruleng Municipality. The successful bidder will ensure the provision of specified street lighting materials to support municipal infrastructure development.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of the following streetlights materials:

• Prometheus all-in-one solar streetlights 85W (12 units)
• Bracket reducers 88mm O/D to 60mm O/D (12 units)
• 9m galvanised steel streetlight poles (10.5m total length, 9 units)

The materials are to be supplied and delivered to the designated municipal sites as per the specifications outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Solar streetlights must be Prometheus all-in-one solar streetlights 85W
• Bracket reducers must convert 88mm O/D to 60mm O/D
• Galvanised steel poles must be 9 meters in height, suitable for mounting the streetlights at a height of approximately 10.5 meters

All materials must comply with relevant standards and be suitable for outdoor municipal lighting applications. Delivery must be completed by the stipulated closing date.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate:

• Company registration and valid SARS PIN
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Recent municipal statement of account (not older than 3 months) or proof of residence for rural operators
• Compliance with tax obligations and submission of relevant certificates
• Ability to supply the specified materials in the quantities listed
• Experience in supplying municipal infrastructure materials, particularly street lighting components
• Adherence to procurement and supply chain management policies, including declaration of interests and past conduct
