Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure proficiency testing samples for water chemistry analysis, specifically for the months of March, April, May, and June 2026. The supplier must provide SANAS ISO17043 accredited proficiency testing services to ensure accurate and reliable water chemistry testing across various parameters.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of SANAS ISO17043 accredited chemistry proficiency testing samples in water.
• Delivery of testing samples for the following categories:
• Heavy metals testing samples (one set).
• Nutrients testing samples (one set).
• Physical testing samples for parameters including Aluminium, Ammonia, Barium, Boron, Cadmium, Calcium, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Chloride, Chromium, Cobalt, Conductivity, Copper, Dissolved solids, Fluoride, Free chlorine, Cyanide, Iron, Lead, Magnesium, Manganese, Nickel, Nitrate, Nitrite, Orthophosphate, pH, Potassium, Sodium, Strontium, Sulphate, Sulphide, Suspended solids, Total Phosphate, Turbidity, Vanadium, Zinc).

Technical Requirements

The supplier must:

• Be SANAS ISO17043 accredited for water chemistry proficiency testing.
• Provide a schedule of SANAS ISO17043 accreditation including all analysis listed above.
• Supply a letter of good standing with the Compensation Commissioner, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Injuries & Diseases Act of 1993.
• Provide a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Ensure samples are delivered as per the specified schedule for March, April, May, and June 2026.
• Maintain the validity of the quotation for 30 days.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Accreditation and expertise in water chemistry proficiency testing, specifically under SANAS ISO17043 standards.
• Capability to produce and deliver high-quality, accredited proficiency testing samples for a range of chemical and physical parameters.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety standards, including providing a good standing certificate.
• Ability to adhere to delivery schedules and provide accurate documentation and certification as required.
