Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified suppliers to provide repair services for a roll-up shutter door at SANPC OPC Saldanha. The aim is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the electric shutter door to support SANPC's operational needs.

Scope

The scope of work involves repairing the electric roll-up shutter door at SANPC OPC, located at the Transnet Port harbour Iron ore Jetty in Saldanha. The repair work is to be carried out as per the specifications provided in the tender documentation, following a compulsory site visit.

Technical Requirements

• Participation in a compulsory site visit scheduled for 7 August 2026 at 11:00 at SANPC OPC, Saldanha.
• Submission of a security clearance ID by 6 August 2026 at 16:00.
• Provision of a detailed price schedule with a breakdown of costs, including all disbursements.
• Completion of the official RFQ forms and adherence to the scope of work outlined in the tender.
• Compliance with all bidding procedures, including submission of valid tax compliance status and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), unless foreign supplier with no local entity.
• Adherence to the evaluation criteria, including responsiveness, price, and specific goals.
