Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure supply and delivery of two specific items: C_b_t_p 350A Hymag and C_b_t_p 400A Hymag Ly00400. The aim is to obtain competitive quotations for these goods to meet the needs of the City of uMhlathuze within the specified timeframe.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of the specified Hymag products, namely:

• C_b_t_p 350A Hymag
• C_b_t_p 400A Hymag Ly00400

The delivery location is the Supply Chain Management Unit at the end of Betastraal, Alton, Richards. The delivery period is to be specified per item, with a deadline of 21 October 2025.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Supply of two types of Hymag products: 350A and 400A models.
• Items must meet the specifications as described in the RFQ.
• All alterations to quotations must be signed by the bidder, confirming changes were made by the bidder.
• Price alterations without signatures will lead to disqualification.
• Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Provision of a Letter of Good Standing and other compulsory documentation as specified.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Bidder qualifications and skills requirements include:

• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Provision of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Submission of a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Completion of RFQ forms in black ink; quotations in lead pencil will not be accepted.
• Fulfilling preferential procurement criteria, including proof of ownership by South Africans, youth, disabled persons, and ownership in rural areas and townships, where applicable.
• Adherence to compulsory documentation and declaration requirements, including conflict of interest, past SCM practices, and independence declarations.
• Signatures on all relevant documents, including alterations and declarations, are mandatory for validity.
