Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver hardware tools to the City of uMhlathuze by 10 August 2026. The procurement aims to acquire specified hardware tools to support municipal operations and maintenance activities.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply and delivery of various hardware tools such as:

• Crayons (10 units)
• Sockets (quantity unspecified)
• Stainless Steel Clamps (1000 x 1117 mm, quantity: 6)
• Traffic Orange Cones (150 x 750 mm, quantity: 150)
• Hacksaw Blades (30 x 300 mm, quantity: 30)

The delivery is to be made to the Supply Chain Management Unit at the specified address in Richards Bay, within the lead times specified for each item.

Technical Requirements

• Items must meet the specifications listed in the RFQ, such as size and color for traffic cones, dimensions for clamps, and blade size for hacksaws.
• All alterations to the quotation must be signed by the bidder, confirming the changes.
• Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide the CSD number.
• A Letter of Good Standing must be submitted.
• Quotations must be completed in black ink; pencil submissions are not accepted.
• All relevant compulsory documents, including tax compliance and company registration, must be attached.
