Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit bids for the supply and delivery of consumables to the South African National Petroleum Company (SANPC). The aim is to procure the required consumables efficiently, ensuring compliance with specified standards and promoting transformation and empowerment goals through specific preference points.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply and delivery of consumables as specified in the RFQ documentation.
• Adherence to the scope and specifications outlined in the tender documents.
• Participation in site visits if applicable.
• Provision of all goods/services in accordance with the contractual obligations once awarded.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Completion of the RFQ response documents, including the fully detailed Price Schedule with cost breakdowns.
• Provision of valid BBBEE certificates or sworn affidavits to claim preference points.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to bid submission, unless foreign supplier with no local entity.
• Compliance with all specified specifications and scope of work as detailed in the tender documentation.
• Submission of all required supporting documentation, including declarations and affidavits.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from bidders include:

• Ability to prepare and submit comprehensive and compliant bid responses.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Capability to deliver goods within specified timelines and quality standards.
• Understanding of BBBEE and other transformation goals to meet specific scoring criteria.
