Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver FS250 spares by 31 July 2026 to the City of uMhlathuze. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of specified FS250 components, including filters, carburetors, cables, handles, fuel pumps, housings, rotors, gaskets, ignition modules, and other related parts, in accordance with the specified scope and technical requirements.

Scope

The scope of work includes the supply and delivery of various FS250 spares as detailed in the tender documentation. This encompasses:

• Supply and delivery of specific FS250 components such as filters, carburetors, cables, handles, fuel pumps, housings, rotors, gaskets, ignition modules, and other parts.
• Adherence to specified quantities, delivery periods, and unit prices as listed in the tender schedule.
• Participation in a compulsory site meeting at Parks Workshop (Alton) on 28 July 2026 at 08:00.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of all specified FS250 spare parts as per the item descriptions and quantities listed.
• All alterations to quotations must be signed by the bidder to confirm authenticity.
• Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide their CSD number.
• Submission of a Letter of Good Standing and compliance with VAT and customs/levy statutory changes.
• Completion of RFQ forms in black ink; no pencil entries accepted.
• Adherence to the scope of work and specifications provided in the tender documentation.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The skills and requirements expected from bidders include:

• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and Municipal Council Database.
• Provision of relevant documentation such as a Tax Compliance Certificate, Letter of Good Standing, and any applicable SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) risk management files.
• Ability to supply the specified FS250 parts accurately and within the stipulated delivery periods.
• Understanding of procurement procedures, including signing alterations, completing RFQ forms correctly, and submitting all compulsory documents.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance related to VAT, customs, and levies.
• Capacity to participate in site meetings and technical discussions as required.
• Familiarity with municipal procurement policies and preferential procurement points claiming processes.
