Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver Hach Reagents to the City of uMhlathuze by 19 January 2026. The purpose is to procure necessary reagents efficiently, ensuring the City’s operational requirements are met within the specified timeframe and budget constraints.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of Hach Reagents as specified in the RFQ.
• Delivery to the Supply Chain Management Unit at the designated address: End of Betastraal, Alton, Richards Bay.
• Adherence to all technical and statutory requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of Hach Reagents as per the description and quantities specified in the RFQ.
• Compliance with all relevant statutory and safety standards, including SHE Risk Management documentation.
• Submission of all compulsory documents such as Tax Compliance Certificate, Letter of Good Standing, and accreditation where applicable.
• Signatures on all alterations and the quotation itself to confirm acceptance of terms.
• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and Municipal Council Database.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for bidders include:

• Registration and compliance with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Possession of a valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund or Department of Labour.
• Ability to complete RFQ forms accurately in black ink and sign all necessary documentation.
• Provision of relevant accreditation for suppliers, especially if involved in training or specialized services.
• Understanding of statutory procurement processes and adherence to municipal procurement policies.
