Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a reputable and well-established courier service to transport promotional items from the SANPC Midrand Office to Cape Town. The courier service is expected to deliver approximately 33 boxes containing promotional items by a specified deadline, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery to support SANPC's promotional activities.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Couriering 33 boxes of promotional items from the SANPC Midrand Office (1st Floor Building 1, Corporate Campus, Waterfall City, Midrand) to PetroSA (151 Frans Conradie Drive, Avondale, Cape Town 7500).
• Delivery deadline: Items should be delivered by Friday, 27 February 2026.
• Service to be provided via Economy Shipping (Standard Delivery).

Technical Requirements

• Provision of a reliable courier service capable of handling the specified volume and delivering within the stipulated timeframe.
• Completion of the delivery by the specified date (27 February 2026).
• Submission of a valid RFQ response, including a fully completed SBD1 form and other required documentation.
• Adherence to SANPC’s procurement and compliance policies, including registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliance verification.
• Provision of proof of BBBEE status and compliance with specific goals related to transformation and empowerment.
• Acceptance of the evaluation criteria, including responsiveness, functionality, price, and specific goals.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in courier and logistics services, particularly in handling promotional or sensitive items.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver within the specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of South African supply chain management policies and procurement procedures.
• Compliance with legal and tax requirements, including registration on the CSD and tax clearance.
• Capability to provide proof of BBBEE status and meet transformation goals.
• Strong administrative and responsiveness capabilities to pass SANPC’s responsiveness tests.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for handling inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
