Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver lath equipment to SANPC Saldanha, a newly established State-Owned Company and subsidiary of the CEF Group of Companies. The aim is to ensure the supply of specified lath tools and accessories to support SANPC's operational needs.

Scope

The scope of work involves the supply and on-site delivery of various lath equipment at SANPC OPC in Saldanha. The items include toolholders, inserts, blades, drills, and other related accessories, specifically:

• Toolholders (e.g., MTJNR 2020K-16W, PSSNR 2020K-12)
• Insert tools (e.g., TNMG 160404TF-IC 907, SNMG 120404-TF IC907)
• Blade parts and inserts (e.g., SPB 326, ZQMX 3N11-1E YBC251)
• Drills (e.g., HSS CD-HS 3.15 X 8.00, 2.50 X 6.3)

The delivery is to be completed on-site at SANPC Saldanha, with no site visit required.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that the supplied equipment must meet the detailed specifications listed in the scope of work, including:

• Specific tool types and sizes as detailed in the scope
• Compliance with relevant industry standards for quality and safety
• Unconditional pricing discounts will only be considered if offered on an unconditional basis
• All disbursements not specifically priced will not be accepted

Pricing must be clearly stated, and the total bid must include VAT. The successful bidder must also provide the necessary documentation to verify compliance with the technical specifications.

Skills and Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Capability to supply and deliver the specified lath equipment within the stipulated timeframe
• Experience in providing similar equipment to industrial or petroleum sector clients
• Compliance with all legal, tax, and supply chain regulations, including registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Provision of valid BBBEE certificates or sworn affidavits to claim preference points
• Ability to provide supporting evidence for any claims related to transformation goals or specific supplier status
• Understanding of the evaluation criteria, including price and specific goals, with the ability to meet the minimum responsiveness requirements
