Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure repair and commissioning services for a non-functioning retarder on a UD Water Tanker (Engine VINJRCZM70G3KS809078). The successful supplier will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, fitting necessary parts, and ensuring the vehicle is fully operational by the specified deadline of 11 June 2026.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Repair of the retarder system on the specified UD Water Tanker.
• Supply and fitting of valves, exhaust pipes, and sensors as required.
• Conducting diagnostics to identify issues.
• Commissioning of the vehicle post-repair.
• Cleaning and washing the vehicle after repairs.
• Ensuring the vehicle is ready for use within 7 days of receiving the purchase order.

The repair services are to be carried out at the supplier’s premises, with the vehicle to be delivered back to the Mechanical Workshop after completion.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the repair include:

• Supply and fitment of a valve, exhaust pipe, and sensor.
• Performing diagnostics to identify faults in the retarder system.
• Vehicle commissioning to ensure proper functioning of the retarder system.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards, including being a UD accredited agency.
• Completion of all work within 7 days from receipt of the purchase order.
• Provision of a detailed, itemized quotation specifying all parts and works with relevant costs.

Skills Requirements

The supplier must possess:

• Accreditation with the UD manufacturer or being a UD accredited agency.
• Technical expertise in vehicle diagnostics, particularly for retarder systems on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Qualified personnel capable of supply, fitting, and commissioning of vehicle parts.
• Experience in vehicle repairs, especially for water tankers or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to complete repairs within the stipulated timeframe and ensure vehicle readiness for operational use.
