Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the overhaul and commissioning of an engine, specifically for Fleet V2063, with a completion deadline of 13 May 2026. The aim is to ensure the engine is overhauled to meet quality standards and is fully operational upon completion.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Overhauling the specified engine (VIN: JPCXY0DXRS825548, Engine Number: GH8628460A1P, Fleet Number: V2063, Make: UD, Model: E44, Year: 2023)
• Replacing oil filters
• Top-up with power steering ATF
• Pressure testing the coolant system
• Providing an itemized quotation with separate line items for each task
• Transporting the vehicle to the supplier’s premises if required
• Completing the overhaul within 7 days of receiving the purchase order and returning the vehicle to the mechanical workshop
• Providing a 12-month warranty on the quality of spare parts used

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Adherence to the scope of works specified, including oil filter replacement, coolant system pressure testing, and top-up with power steering ATF
• Itemized quotation with clear line items for each task
• Completion of the overhaul within 7 days from purchase order receipt
• Provision of insurance coverage against theft or fire incidents
• Use of quality spare parts with a 12-month warranty
• Compliance with statutory VAT and customs/levy regulations
• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and submission of a valid CSD number
• Provision of a Letter of Good Standing
• Signatures on all alterations and quotations

• Registered and accredited UD Trucks service agents (compulsory)
• Technical expertise in engine overhaul and repair, specifically for UD E44 engines
• Ability to perform pressure testing and fluid top-ups
• Capability to transport and handle heavy vehicle repairs
• Provision of warranty services and quality assurance
• Insurance coverage for potential damages or incidents during repairs
• Compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (SHE risk management)
