Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure X-ray and medical examination services, including MRI X-ray, knee X-ray, and reports from orthopedic specialists, for the City of uMhlathuze. The aim is to ensure the provision of specialized medical imaging and consultation services to support healthcare needs within the municipality.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses the supply and delivery of the following medical services and equipment:

• Provision of MRI X-ray services
• X-ray services for the knee
• Orthopedic specialist reports and advice, particularly for old iod cases

All services must be delivered to the specified address: Supply Chain Management Unit, End of Betastraal, Alton, Richards Bay. The services are expected to be provided within the required lead times, with the specific quantities and delivery periods outlined in the RFQ documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide their CSD number.
• All quotations must be completed in black ink; pencil submissions are not accepted.
• Price alterations must be signed by the bidder; unsigned alterations will lead to disqualification.
• Suppliers must provide a Letter of Good Standing and relevant compliance certificates.
• All alterations and signatures must be properly signed and signed for by the bidder.
• Suppliers should ensure all compulsory documents are attached, including tax compliance certificates, SHE risk management files, and relevant certifications.
• Prices are subject only to statutory changes such as VAT and customs levies; no price increases will be approved after submission.
• Suppliers must adhere to the conditions outlined for delivery, pricing, and documentation as specified in the tender documents.
