Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply the Den Braven Sealant Silicone Spray Universal 400ml to Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and procurement policies.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of the specified silicone spray product in accordance with the detailed specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements outlined in the tender documentation. The procurement is for a once-off purchase, with the product to be supplied to the hospital's designated location within the specified contract period.

Technical Requirements

• The product must be the Den Braven Sealant Silicone Spray Universal 400ml, packaged in boxes of 6 units.
• The product must meet the specifications and quality standards as approved by the end-user (Mr T.E. Masondo) and the SCM representative (Mr M.J. Sithole).
• The product must be SABS or SANS approved, with proof of approval provided.
• The product should be new, unused, and of the most recent model, incorporating all latest improvements.
• Delivery must be made to Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital, Lot 92 Hlubi Street, Main Road, Nqtu 3135, in accordance with the specified delivery schedule.
• The supplier may be required to provide incidental services such as on-site assembly, finishing, or supervision if specified.
• Warranty provisions must be adhered to, ensuring the product's quality and performance.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Ability to supply the specified silicone spray product meeting all technical and quality standards.
• Proven experience in supplying medical or similar products within the public health sector.
• Capacity to deliver the product within the stipulated timeframe and in the required packaging.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements, including proof of SABS/SANS approval and relevant licensing from SAHPRA if applicable.
• Capability to provide necessary documentation, including proof of previous orders and delivery notes, to demonstrate capacity and reliability.
• Understanding of procurement policies, including adherence to preferential procurement regulations and declaration of interests.
